Provide with well drained soil, plenty of sun and make sure it doesn't get too wet during winter and this charming little Salvia, one of the few yellows, will reward you for many years.
Do not cut back hard, remove only dead branches as necessary.
While many Salvia are brittle Iced Lemon is particularly so. Plant away from paths or other areas subject to traffic.

A low growing, stiffly branched, suckering, evergreen shrub from sandy soil in eastern South Africa. The grey-red stems are clothed in pairs of small, undulating, elleptical, grey green leaves. Deep sky blue, hooded, tubular flowers, each with a prominent, white splashed lip, emerge from pairs of redish bracts along slender, sparsely leaved stems.
Trim lightly when the accumalation of spent flower stems becomes to great to bear.
